
It is parked there, almost provocatively, right in front of the entrance to the Philipp Plein headquarters in Lugano, Switzerland: a swanky G Class Mercedes. If there are any doubts as to who the car might belong to, they are dispelled in the owner’s office at the latest. There, the eye is quickly drawn to the many unusual decorative items, such as the two metre tall Transformer statue behind the desk. Philipp Plein himself no longer notices his own furnishings; when we enter, he is still busy with an employee.
But he’s the kind of guy with the internal power button, when we start taking photos after 3 hours of waiting he runs around the house with us with almost frightening energy like a small child.
